Manufactured since 1852, these pastilles allow to improve the digestion thanks to the mineral salts (0,3%) charged in bicarbonates.we owe the existence of the pastilles of Vichy to the chemist Jean-Pierre-Joseph d’ Arcet, who discovered the digestive virtues of the sodium bicarbonate, principal element of the mineral waters of Vichy. These “alkaline” tablets help improve digestion. One lozenge weighs 2.5 grams and is mint flavored. This one is made with salts extracted from Vichy mineral waters. This is a specialty of Vichy.
